Starting in the summer of 2002, Simpang Asia in Palms, Los Angeles, began as a humble Indonesian specialty market and has since grown into one of the most recognized Indonesian restaurants in Los Angeles. What began as a simple vision to bring the flavors of home to L.A.—has evolved into a culinary destination for those seeking authentic Indonesian Cuisine.​
